Places to see, things to do

The Croft is situated within a swathe of beautiful countryside in the North Essex village of Sible Hedingham, close to the Suffolk border.

For those who enjoy walking there are many footpaths to explore, some of which can be accessed opposite the cottage. Further afield there are many interesting towns and villages offering something of interst to everyone.

The Colne Vally is the heart of Constable country, indeed John Constable featured Castle Hedingham in his work.

Castle Hedingham is a 5 minute drive away and is home to Hedingham Castle with the finest Norman keep in england.
